Next, we proceed to the stunning Moosi Maharani ki Chhatri, a striking red sandstone and white marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Bakhtawar Singh and his queen, Moosi Maharani. Evening will be at leisure. Consider exploring the local markets of Alwar, renowned for their traditional Rajasthani bangles, jewellery, and the famous 'Alwar ka Mawa' (milk cake). For dinner, we recommend trying a local restaurant for an authentic Rajasthani thali, featuring specialties like Dal Baati Churma, Gatte ki Sabzi, and delectable local sweets. This immersive culinary experience is a perfect end to your first day.

Day 2: Wilderness Safari at Sariska & Rustic Charm

After a hearty breakfast, we check out from our Alwar accommodation and journey towards the renowned Sariska Tiger Reserve, a mere short drive away. Upon arrival, you will check into your resort, ideally located to provide a serene wilderness experience. Sariska is not just a tiger reserve; it's a diverse ecosystem encompassing dry deciduous forests, rocky landscapes, and grassy plains, making it a haven for various flora and fauna.

The highlight of the day is undoubtedly the thrilling wildlife safari in Sariska National Park. As you venture deep into the sanctuary in a specially designated safari vehicle, keep an eye out for majestic tigers (though sightings are subject to luck and patience), leopards, striped hyenas, jackals, sambar deer, chital, nilgai, and a myriad of bird species. The park is also home to ancient temples and ruins, adding a unique historical dimension to your wildlife adventure. The safari provides an excellent opportunity for wildlife photography and an unforgettable encounter with nature.

Post-safari, return to your resort for relaxation. This drive through the Rajasthan countryside offers glimpses of rural life and changing landscapes. Upon arrival in Neemrana, prepare to be awestruck by the grandeur of the Neemrana Fort Palace. This 15th-century fort, meticulously restored, now stands as a magnificent heritage hotel, offering an unparalleled stay experience.

Check into your unique fort accommodation and take some time to explore the sprawling levels, courtyards, and gardens of this architectural marvel. The fort's terraced gardens, swimming pools, and breathtaking views provide endless opportunities for exploration and relaxation. Exclusion

While we strive to make your trip as comprehensive as possible, certain elements fall outside the scope of this package. International or domestic airfare to and from your starting point (e.g., Delhi or Jaipur) is not included. Any personal expenses such as laundry services, telephone calls, tips, and gratuities for guides and drivers are at your discretion. Monument entrance fees at various sites in Alwar, such as the City Palace Museum and Bala Quila, as well as entrance fees for Neemrana Baori, are not covered and will need to be paid directly. Photography or videography charges at monuments, if applicable, are also excluded. Any meals apart from the daily breakfasts mentioned in the itinerary, as well as beverages and alcoholic drinks, are not included. Optional activities, adventure sports, or cultural shows beyond the itinerary are extra. Travel insurance, which we highly recommend, is also not part of this package.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes lead to changes in travel plans. Our cancellation policy is structured to be fair and transparent. For cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the tour start date, a full refund will be issued, minus any non-refundable booking fees or specific permit costs already incurred. Cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before the tour start date will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the total package cost. For cancellations made less than 15 days prior to the tour start date, or in the case of a no-show, the entire package cost will be non-refundable. We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unexpected cancellations or changes.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, we recommend packing comfortable walking shoes suitable for exploring forts and wildlife trails. Light cotton clothing is ideal for daytime, especially during warmer months, while a light jacket or shawl might be useful for cooler evenings or early morning safaris. Don't forget essentials like sunscreen, sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat, and insect repellent. A personal first-aid kit with any specific medications you may require is advisable. Carry a good quality camera with extra batteries to capture the stunning landscapes and wildlife. It's also wise to carry a valid ID proof and copies of your travel documents.

Need to Know

The best time to visit this circuit is typically from October to March, when the weather is pleasant for sightseeing and safaris. Summers (April to June) can be very hot, and the monsoon season (July to September) brings lush greenery but can sometimes impact road conditions. Sariska National Park remains closed during certain months (usually July to September) for core area safaris; please check the exact dates before planning. Photography permits inside Sariska National Park are generally separate and can be purchased on site. Be mindful of local customs and dress modestly when visiting religious sites. While our guides provide invaluable insights, respectfully engaging with local communities enhances your experience. Power outages can occasionally occur in more remote areas, so a power bank for your devices is a useful addition.
